| Music with Dr. Clifford M. Shooker |
| The Moodlighters bring a modular model to a jazz combo. They range between jazz standards and more contemporary avant garde jazz stylings. They can provide anywhere between solo musicians up to a 5 piece jazz combo. Solo offerings include solo keyboard, solo saxophone and solo violin. Duet offerings include keyboard backing either female vocals, saxophone or violin; combinations thereof allow trios and quartets. Live drums may be added to any combination. Classical music is also offered on request. The group can easily add rock and roll/dance music to the mix. For example, consider a wedding. Guests are seated under the light backdrop of classical piano. The wedding march is heralded by the voice of the violin, elegantly accompanying the procession. After the ceremony piano and saxophone color cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with jazz. As diners settle into dinner sultry vocals are added to the mix. As dinner ends the party accelerates with dance music. Guitars can be added from The Lost Cats to round out an enormous range of rock and dance tunes. Of course emcee functions are easily handled with no additional charge. |
